Well, it’s obviously not over, since the goal is “to return home” and not “bring magic back”. Of course they needed magic to be able to have a chance of going back and now they got it. Only problem is; so did the evil characters. And that’s where it gets exciting.
I think at some point the plot might even deal with the characters that want to stay in this world, now that there’s magic here and they’re living somewhat better lives, against characters that want to go back using it. I can’t imagine why would some of them want to return to a land where they’re poor, hungry, miserable and/or unhappy, while they’re living a better life in this world.
